Dennis Jay Edwards

Dennis Jay Edwards, age 61, of Sanford, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Duke Hospital.

He was born in Lee County on Sept. 4, 1960 to Lora “Arthelia” Tillman  Edwards and the late Charles L. Edwards, Sr.  He worked as a machinist making car parts.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Robbie Edwards.

Surviving relatives include his mother Arthelia T. Edwards, sister Sherry Holder & Ronnie of Olivia; brother Chuck Edwards of Sanford.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 4PM at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church cemetery with Rev. George Walton presiding.  If you would like to visit friends are welcomed at his mother’s home, Arthelia Edwards, 494 John Garner Rd, Sanford, NC  27332.
