Deborah “Debbie” Sue Gunter Causey, age 60, of Goldston, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born in Lee County on June 9, 1960 to the late James Daniel Gunter and Edith Wilson Gunter. Debbie was a wonderful mother and friend. She loved spending time at the beach and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her fiancé, Tony Oldham; son, Travis Causey and wife, Erica of Cameron; daughter, Tonya Carver and fiancé, Jason Brown of Cameron; brother, Danny Gunter and wife, Dawn of Sanford; sister, Vicky Daniels and husband, Nelson of Sanford; grandchildren, Emily Causey, Maggie Causey, Haleigh Causey, Daina Moore, Courtney Moore and Aaron Rosser and four great-grandchildren.

Debbie will lie-in-state for friends to come pay their respects, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM. Funeral services will be private due to COVID-19.
