David Cameron Obituary

David Scott Cameron, age 51, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Lee County on May 26, 1969 to Ronald Mack Cameron and Sandra Gail Roberts. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Rob and Orene Roberts; paternal grandparents Neil and Juanita Cameron and niece Jessica Sue Cameron. David worked for many years as a mechanic. He enjoyed spending his spare time fishing at his pond and tinkering on old classic cars.

He is survived by his loving wife Rita Poole Cameron; son DJ Cameron of Carthage; mother Sandra Roberts and husband David Ainsworth of Sanford; aunt Tricia Sellars and husband Johnny of Sanford and cousin Stephanie Sellars of Sanford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist his family with final expenses to Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, 600 W. Main Street, Sanford, NC 27332.
