Darryl Kenneth Jones, age 57, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Central Carolina Hospital.
He was born in Marlboro, SC on September 21, 1963 to Carroll Lee Jones and Faye Simmons Callahan. His father preceded him in death. Mr. Jones was an electrician by trade and he loved fishing, mudracing and especially his family.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Stephens Jones; mother Faye Simmons Callahan of Pittsboro; sons Michael Ryan Jones and Shawn Stephens and wife Christi all of Sanford; “Honey” and “Little Man”; sister Bridget Lankford and husband Charles of Pittsboro; grandchildren Kelly Stephens and Mason Stephens; brothers-in-law John Stephens and Sonya Prince, Billy Stephens and Angie Holmes; sister-in-law Cynthia Galyean and husband Jeffrey; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at 4080 Lower River Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
