Daniel Ray Mimms

Daniel Ray Mimms, age 58, of Sanford, NC, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro, NC.

He was born in Lee County, NC on January 30, 1962 to Daniel George Mimms and Lucille Jackson Mimms.  His father preceded him in death.  Daniel was a well-known plumber, for over 30 years, owning and operating Mimms Plumbing.   He always gave a helping hand to anyone who needed help and loved his family.  He also enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Pamela Faircloth Mimms; brother Ricky Dale Mimms of Broadway; sisters Lorraine Mimms Bunnell of Broadway, Marsha Ann Mimms of Augusta, GA, Janet Mimms of Broadway, NC; half-sisters Kathy Godfrey of Sanford, Janice McLeod of Florida; step-daughters Maigon Gabrielle Fisher and husband Chuck of Broadway, Cesily Tiera Evans and husband Bubba of Olivia; and step-grandchildren Nathan Derek Howard, Emily Grace Evans and Riley Pauline Fisher.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Jonesboro Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.
