Curt Brown

R. Curtis “Curt” Brown, age 81 passed away Thursday May 30, 2024 at the FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care. He was the husband of Sandy Brown.

Curt was born March 11, 1943 in Saline County, Missouri, the son of the late Curtis Lee Brown and Catherine Lucille Cundiff.

He was employed by ACF Industries for 14 years, and Magneti Marelli for 23 years and retired in 2004.  He loved gardening, his fishpond, Morel mushrooms, nature (less the squirrels IYKYK), and video recording.

In addition to his wife, Sandy, of 57 years, he is survived by a sister Connie Davidson and husband, Orvil Davidson from MO; son Jeff Brown and wife, Rachel Brown; daughter Missy Brown and husband, Roger Sain; granddaughter Lauren Floyd and husband, Titus Floyd; granddaughter Paige Brown, and grandson Jordan Brown.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church from 10:30 am to 11:45am and services immediately following the visitation.

Curt served on a ministry mission for Powell River Baptist Association for many years. The Powell River Baptist Association provides needy children with shoes.
