Cora Belle (Hurley) Oldham

Cora Belle Hurley Oldham, age 86, of Sanford, NC, died Thursday, February 20, 2020, at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC.

She was born in Lee County, NC on September 14, 1933, to the late Ike Hurley and Lilla Johnson Hurley.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Roosevelt Oldham; brothers Worth, Hoyle, Sam and E.G. Hurley; and sisters Kathleen Nunnery and Annie Marie Hurley Dunn.  Cora Belle was a homemaker and was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.  She also attended Central Baptist Temple and loved Pastor Mike and Cheryl.

She is survived by her son Tony Oldham and wife Stella of West Virginia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special great-niece Lisa Nunnery Shue and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends in the sanctuary of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with the funeral service following at 3:00 PM with Rev.  Steven Woods officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
