Christopher "Chris" Wayne Deal

Christopher “Chris” Wayne Deal, age 42, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023.

He was born in Lee County, NC on May 27, 1981 to John Wayne Deal and Peggy Ann Richardson Deal.  His father passed away in 2017.  Chris was a Machinist for many years, working for Barnes Machine, Wilson Machine & Tool and Wind Solutions.  He was an avid fisherman and loved his “fur-babies” dearly.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by fur-babies “Fat Boy” and “Soldier”.  Chris is survived by his mother Peggy Richardson Deal; sister Tracy Deal Denkins (Joshua); brother Joseph “Joe” Deal; nieces Natalie Denkins, Kinsley Denkins, Katelyn Burton (Dustin), Brianna Deal, Jaylei Deal, Cami Deal; great-nephew Dillon Burton; his best friend who was more like a brother Derrick Haas and special friend Tiffany Whitehead and her daughter Neveah.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Hickman officiating.  The family will receive friends 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM- prior to the service and other times at the home of Tracy & Joshua Denkins.
