Christopher "Chris" Michael Carlyle

Christopher Michael Carlyle, age 46, of Cameron, NC, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

He was born in Lee County, NC on August 27, 1979 to Michael Donald Carlyle and Aline Ayers Carlyle.  His father preceded him in death.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, of 17 years, Jessica Worrell Carlyle; sister Jessica Carlyle Perdue (Doug, Jr.); sister-in-law Amy Furmage (Kris); nephew Julian Perdue; nieces Kayla House and Katelyn Coe and father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Debbie Worrell.

Chris was dedicated to his family, job and the collecting of action figures.  He had a love of Wrestling, Superman, music and Duke basketball.  He was a great friend to all and he gave his whole heart to any situation.  He enjoyed living the slower paced life and would reminisce about the days of his family working together in tobacco.  Chris was a great son, brother, husband and friend who brought out the best in everyone.  He worked as a customer service representative for Regency Office Supply.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 16, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at Lemon Springs Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brian Caldwell officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
