Christine Miriam (Hall) Thomas

Christine Miriam Hall Thomas, age 90, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born in Lee County, NC on April 17, 1935 to the late Alvis H. Hall and Elna Todd Hall.  Mrs. Thomas was the last of her siblings including; Lynton Hall, Dorothy Hall Wofford and Myrtle Lee Gaster.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter Jo Ann Thomas Baker. 

Mrs. Thomas worked for AJ Schneirson, W. Koury Company and worked over 30 years for Coty.  She was known for her beautiful flowers, feeding the birds and fishing.  She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was the family picture-taker.  She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, of almost 75 years, Fred Ray Thomas; son David Thomas and wife Janice; daughter Cathy Pender and husband Rick; son-in-law Dewitt Baker; grandchildren Brian Thomas (Amber), Amy Thomas Lundy (Duncan), Marcia Baker Buchanan (Jeff), Melanie Baker Farmer (Moses), Gene Garner (Heather), Misty Johnson (BJ); great-grandchildren Madison Farmer, Gavin Farmer, Mackinley Farmer, Jaden Buchanan, Davis Lundy, Walker Lundy, Hudson Lundy, Logan Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Tenley Thomas, Hannah Johnson, Matthew Farlow, Jessica Markham, Peyton Garner, Aime Pender and Ashley Pender Garton.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, and other times at the family home.  The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
