Charles “Charlie” Kiger age 71, passed away surrounded by his family on July 23, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
He was born in Wisconsin on March 3, 1951, to the late Charles Kiger and Annabelle Kern Kiger. Charlie proudly served our Country as a Sgt. in the US Marine Corps which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. After returning home, he was a Police Officer in Anadarko, Oklahoma although his true job passion was long haul trucking. Charlie enjoyed the job and all of the beauty of the highways and places he encountered along his route. Charlie was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cindy; son, Tristan Kiger and wife, Brooke of Cameron; daughter, April Kiger of Denver, Colorado; his loving and loyal German Shepherd, Jake; brother, Gary Kiger and wife, Joyce of Wisconsin; sister, Leanna Hood and husband, Dwight of Florida and his precious grandchildren, Riley Nevins and Tristan Cade Kiger.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at a later date.
