Carrie Victoria (Lee) Sherwood

Carrie Victoria Lee Sherwood, age 89, of Vass died Monday, June 15, 2020.

Mrs. Sherwood was born in Todd County, Kentucky on Sept. 26, 1930, to the late Waldo Lee and Pinkie Ellis Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick.

She is survived by her three sons Bob Lee and Mary of Norwood, NC, Freddy Sherwood and Ely of Millingport, NC, and Henry Sherwood of Vass, NC; one daughter Mary Swassing and Bill of Kalispell, Montana.  She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at Hillmon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Simpson presiding.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
