Carol Lynn (Wofford) Valdez

Carol Lynn Wofford Valdez, age 61, of Sanford, NC died Monday, November 9, 2020 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Lee County on October 20, 1959 to the late Harold Scott Wofford and Dorothy Jean Hall Wofford.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Monico Valdez Gonzalez, sister Brenda Craig and nephew Daniel Craig.  Carol adored her grandson Jayden and she enjoyed time spent with family.  She was a loving and caring person who will be dearly missed.

Carol is survived by her children Freddy Valdez and Heather Valdez both of Sanford; sisters Beverly Vanhoose and husband Winford of Ohio and Debra Smith of Sanford; grandson Jayden Toro and many special nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her sister, Debra Smith.
