Carlton Bryant Holt

Carlton Bryant Holt, age 85, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Duke University Medical Center.

Mr. Holt was born in Lee County, on May 21, 1933, to the late Challie Bryant Holt and Molinda Buchanan Holt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings James Ralph Holt, Robert Hartness Holt, and Geneva Emily LaMora.  He worked for Pentair Pool Products prior to retirement and served his country in the US Army in Korea.  Bryant was a life-long member of Shallow Well Church.

Surviving relatives include his wife Polly Ann Cox Holt of the home; daughters Phyllis Dee Holt Phillips of Sanford and Scarlett Renee Holt Vick and David of Sanford; sister, Molinda Frances Nobles of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Daniel Bryan Vick, Megan Dior Vick Hoyle, and Hailey Austin Phillips and one great grandchild Harper Reagan Hoyle.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 5 to 7PM, Dec. 30^th, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, 2PM at Shallow Well Church with Rev. Donald Thompson and Rev. Marty Johnston presiding.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
