Carl Felton Ray, Jr., age 59, of Broadway, NC, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Halifax County, NC on November 12, 1963 to the late Carl Felton Ray, Sr. and Delilah Edwards Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cindy Ray.

Carl worked as a truck driver for Heartland Trucking and loved his job. He was a hard-worker but he loved his daughter Crystal and late-wife Cindy more than anything.

He is survived by his daughter Crystal Saner of the home; girlfriend Lakeisha Parker; best friend Stuart Hux and several aunts.

A service will be held at a later date.
