CELEBRATION OF LIFE RESCHEDULED Christopher Scott Prevatte

Christopher Scott Prevatte, 53, of Broadway, NC passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ray Prevatte (Billy).

Chris was a hardworking, selfless man who made it his life’s mission to provide for his family. He has been married to his beloved wife Vicki Prevatte for 33 years. He will best be remembered for his loyalty to his family and his hard work that he devoted to Martin Marietta for 32 years. In his free time, he loved to go camping with his family, always cooking something on the grill, and being outdoors fishing or having a campfire.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his mother Mary Bogan of Cameron, NC. His wife Vicki and sons Hunter Prevatte (wife Lindsey Prevatte) of Sanford and Brandon Prevatte (wife Emily Prevatte) of Chapel Hill. Chris’s brother Mike Prevatte (wife Johnna Prevatte) of Cameron, sisters Jennifer Butler (husband Randall Butler) of Cameron and Grace Furr (husband Derek Furr) of Myrtle Beach, SC. His in-laws Jimmy and Louise Ammons of Sanford. His brother-in-law James Ammons (wife Audrey Ammons) of Sanford. Also, many other nieces, nephews, and other family

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Swann Station Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Blackmon officiating.
