Bryan Edward Collins

Bryan Edward Collins, age 67, of Sanford, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Port Authur, Texas on June 2, 1956 to Elvis E. Collins and Carolyn Swanzy Hurt.  His father preceded him in death.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Patsy Lee Collins; children Casey Collins and wife Nicole, Lindsey Collins; grandchildren Shelby Collins, Jethro Warren and Blayke Collins.

Bryan served our country in the United States Navy and received his Bachelors of Science Degrees from Texas A&M and the University of Maryland.  He worked for Duke Energy and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Goldston. He enjoyed a good game of golf with his friends, telling a good corny joke and tinkering around the house.

A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 396 NC-42, Goldston, NC 27252 on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
