Brenda Sue (Taylor) Sellars

Brenda Taylor Sellars, age 72, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her home, with her loving husband and son by her side.

She was born in Lee County to the late Carl Edward Taylor and Martha Shields Donnell Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Taylor Sellars. 

Brenda is survived by her husband Harry Edward “Eddie” Sellars, Jr.; son Trey Sellars; sister Jane Taylor Sloan Baker and husband James; granddaughter Maddie Sellars and many extended family, nieces and nephews.

Brenda’s life was a beautiful reflection of compassion, creativity, and devotion. A faithful member of Cross Roads Ministries, she found joy in serving others and sharing her light. Her favorite role was working with Glamor Shots, where she helped women feel radiant and confident—styling their hair, applying makeup, and capturing their inner beauty through photography. She had a gift for making others feel seen and celebrated.

Brenda also empowered women through fitness, running Curves Exercise for Women with warmth and encouragement. Her passion for uplifting others was evident in every endeavor she pursued.

Above all, Brenda cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to Eddie and a loving mother to her sons, finding her greatest fulfillment in the roles of wife and mom. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave and the lives she touched. Brenda was also a compassionate dog lover.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Crossroads Ministries A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Paul Backlund and Rev. Beth Hood officiating.
