Bonnie Joyce (Cleary) Nedrow

Bonnie Joyce Cleary Nedrow, age 69, of Sanford, NC, passed away Monday, August 11, 2024, at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC.

She was born in Harford County, Maryland, on March 6, 1956, to the late Benjamin Daniel Cleary and Emel Louise Anderson.

Bonnie was known for a heart full of kindness, a sharp sense of humor that could light up any room, and an unshakable strength that carried her through life’s many chapters. She was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and a true friend to many.
A hard worker all her life, Bonnie believed in doing things the right way—with determination, grace, and a bit of grit. Her strong will and tireless work ethic were matched only by her generous spirit and quick wit.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters: Angela Joyner (Steve) of Sanford, NC; Terri Lockamy (Lonnie) of Carthage, NC; Joyce Johnson of Cameron, NC; and Tonia Godfrey (John) of Sanford, NC; brother, David Cleary (Sheryl) of Monroe, NC; sisters, Barbara Churchill of Greensboro, NC, and Betty Worsham of Sanford, NC; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Ray Boden officiating.
