Bobby Lee Bass

Bobby Lee Bass, age 72, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Parkview Retirement Village.

Born on May 27, 1953, in Laurinburg, NC, Bobby was the son of the late Jessie Thomas Bass and Sadie Ruth Watson Bass. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Bobby is survived by his children: Autumn (Chuck), Holly McConnell, and Shawn Bass (William); his brother, Charles Bass (Pam); sisters: Sandra (Ninfa), Sara Combs, Joyce Page, and Anne Lawrence (Dale); eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby spent his career working in the textile manufacturing industry, where he was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and loyalty. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
