Bobby Lynn Baker

Bobby Lynn Baker, age 74, of Sanford, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Lee County, NC on January 8, 1948 to the late Dewitt Baker and Florence Mae Ashworth Baker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Helen Thomas, Glenda Baker and nephew Scott Mason.  Bobby worked many years in the tool & die industry before his retirement.  He was a loving caregiver to his mother for 40 plus years and was an active member of Eastside Pentacostal Church where he was dedicated to missions.  He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his twin sister Barbara Mason and husband Steve of Sanford, sister Judy King of Carthage; brother-in-law Fleet Thomas of Sanford; nieces and nephews Misty Ross and husband Kevin of Sanford, Kristy Hildreth of Sanford, Crystal Creed of Greensboro, Kenneth King and wife Kim of Sanford, Keith King and wife Laura of Fuquay-Varina, Rodney Mason and Tammy of South Hill, VA, Anita Hernandez and husband Edgar of Maryland, Cynthia Angel of Sanford and Jeff Britt and wife Patsy of Sanford, Mark Thomas and wife Renee of Sanford and Renee Covert and husband AJ of Sanford.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eastside Pentecostal Church with the service following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ernest Hinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
