Blaine "Doug" Douglas Perdue

Blaine “Doug” Douglas Perdue, Sr, age 62, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, May 3, 2024.

He was born in Guilford County, NC on July 2, 1961 to the late William Edward Perdue and Jeanne Carroll Perdue.  He was preceded in death by brothers, William David Perdue Sr and Darryl Edmond Perdue Sr.  Doug worked as a Foreman for Capital City Sprinkler Company.

He is survived by his son Blaine Douglas Perdue Jr and Jessica Perdue of Hubert; daughters, Ashlee Perdue Jackson and Jonathan Jackson of Cameron and Rebecca McNeill of Sunset Beach; sisters Karen Perdue D’Angelo of White Hill, Sheryl Smith and David Smith of Sanford, and Sharon Perdue Mason and Chris Mason of Reidsville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 2PM, at Swann Station Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Blackmon and Rev. Curtis Norris presiding.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church from 1PM to funeral hour.  Burial will follow in the McDougald-Holder family cemetery.
