Billy "Peanut" Ray Womack, Jr.

Billy Ray Womack, Jr. (also known as “Peanut”), age 55, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Lee County on June 27, 1965 to the late Billy Ray Womack, Sr. and Margaret Lawson Womack.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Claude Ray Womack.  Billy worked as an electrician and took great pride in a job well done.  He was dedicated to his family and loved helping people.  Billy enjoyed spending his spare time fishing.

Billy is survived by his children, Michael Womack of Sanford, Matthew Womack of Sanford, Brittany Womack of Sanford and Michelle Williams and husband, Travis of Sanford; brother, Jeffrey Womack of Sanford; sisters, Deborah Beal of Sanford and Pam Oldham and husband, Jim of Siler City and two grandchildren, Nash Williams and Cooper Fultz.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
