Beulah Mae Oakley Dickens, age 85, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home.
She was born near Mamers in Harnett County to the late Robert Madison Oakley and Mary Elizabeth Angel Oakley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice “Bud” Dickens. She graduated from Boone Trail School in 1955. Beulah worked at Carnes for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Dickens and Allen Dickens both of Sanford; a daughter, Fran Dickens of South Carolina; sisters, Ruth Oakley Cox of Sanford, Jeanette Oakley of Sanford and Martha Shepherd of Sanford and two grandchildren, Tyler Adams and Katelyn Kleinhans.
