Betty Jean (Wall) McNeill

Betty Jean Wall McNeill, age 81, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. McNeill was born in Moore County, on Feb. 12, 1937, to the late Clyde David Wall and Lula Mae Childress Wall.  She worked as a seamstress with a clothing manufacturing company.  Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Eugene McNeill and a son David Clyde McNeill.

Surviving relatives include, sons, Samuel Eugene McNeill, Jr and Rhonda of Pinehurst and Timothy Allen McNeill and Rosalynne of Wilmington; a daughter Susan Whitt and Jimmy Grimsley of Sanford; special nephew, Floyd McNeill; sisters, Louise Snowden of Arizona, Peggy Abshear of Sanford and Margie Schnader of Alabama; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

The family will hold a visitation on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, from 4 to 6PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 24th, 2PM at Pineywood Baptist with Rev. Daniel Sims presiding.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
