Betty (Lee) Henderson

Betty Lee Henderson, age 83, of Moncure, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

She was born in Harnett County, NC to the late Ernon Lee and Edna Morris Lee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Henderson; grandson Christopher Womack and  brother Jimmy Lee.  Betty was an excellent seamstress and along with her sister Lynda owned and operated B & L Custom Drapery.  She enjoyed trips to the beach and fishing.  But more than anything in the world, she loved her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Betty is survived by son Donnie Wayne Holder of  Sanford; daughter Elaine Woody of Moncure; sisters Elouise Yarborough, Carol Jeffries, Lynda Dowdy, Joyce Elliott;  four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
