Barbara Jean (Seawell) Ainsworth

Barbara Seawell Ainsworth  age 77, born Barbara Jean Seawell to William Quimby Seawell and Virginia Leona Seawell, passed away on Monday, January 13th, 2025, peacefully.

She is survived by her husband, John Thomas Ainsworth, and her two children, Virginia Renee Ashmore and her husband, Michael Ashmore and John Thomas Ainsworth Jr., and his wife, Kristin Ainsworth, two sisters, Edie Lee Spivey and Betty Lou White, as well as two grandchildren John Thomas Ainsworth III and Zoey Mae Ainsworth. Barbara was preceded in death by four siblings: Carlton and Carolyn Seawell (twins), Quimby Seawall, and Mary Freeman.

She was loved by all that knew her, and the heavens are brighter tonight. We love you, mom.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
