Ava Coley Obituary

Ava Holt Coley, age 65, of Sanford, NC, died peacefully Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home, following a brief illness.

She was born in Lee County, NC, on September 3, 1955 to the late Daniel Soloman “Sol” Holt and Pauline McDuffie Holt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Matthew Coley and a special aunt Geraldine Harrison.

She is survived by her daughter Jamie Wesner and husband Scott of Carthage; grandchildren Hope and Jackson; fiancé Bob Sampson of Phoenix, AZ; brother Mike Holt; sister Sola Edwards; and special cousin Julie Gunter of Ohio.

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will follow in the future.
