Ashley Jayne Kelly

Ashley Jayne Kelly, age 49, of Sanford, NC, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at her mother’s home.

She was born in Lee County, NC on May 17, 1975 to Charles “Donald” Allen Kelly and Frances Sharpe Kelly.  She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Kelly; special uncle- who she helped care for- Ronald Nelson Kelly and cousin Shane Owens.

Ashley graduated from Lee County Senior High School and obtained her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Campbell University.  She also attended Mitchell’s Hair Academy and worked as a hair stylist at Hair Associates at one time.  She loved her family and would do anything to help those in need.

In addition to her mother Frances Sharpe Kelly, Ashley is survived by her brother Donald Patrick Kelly (Tiffany Sloan); nieces and nephews, Olivia Anne Kelly, Jacob Patrick Kelly, Shyanne Sloan; special cousins Mark Kelly, Tamara Owens Wilson and numerous other extended cousins; aunts and uncles Benny Sharpe, Patty Stone, Jenny Kennedy, Jackie Tart, Brenda Tucker (Kim) and Lib Kelly.  Ashley has a large extended family and too many to name but loved just the same.

Per Ashley’s wishes, no services will be held.
