Alice (Harward) Rosser

Alice Harward Rosser, age 86, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Sanford Health and Rehab. Center.

She was born in Anson County, to the late Amos Harward and Sallie Caudle Harward.  Mrs. Rosser was a nurse’s aide, homemaker, and tobacco farmer.   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rosser was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Rosser, a son Richard Rosser, brothers, Elder Calvin Harward and Daniel Harward, sister, Martha Harrington.

Mrs. Rosser is survived by her sons, Lyndon Rosser and Sherman Rosser both of Sanford; daughters, Vivian Rosser of Sanford and Arlene Jackson and Gary of Sanford; sisters, Gracie Harrington of Sanford, Laura Denny of Sanford and Ruby Hendricks of Vass; grandchildren, April Moody and Doug, Melissa Allred and Brandon, and Brent Jackson; great grandchildren, Tate Jackson, Jude Jackson, Penelope Allred and Olivia Allred.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 12:30PM until the funeral hour in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held in the chapel at 2PM with Rev. Robert Thomas presiding.  Entombment will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
