A. Myrtle (Smith) Smith

Myrtle Smith, age 88, of Sanford, NC passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Harnett County on April 11, 1935 to the late Dallas and Mae Johnson Smith.  Myrtle was always smiling and happy all the time.  She loved helping people and cooking.  In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her step-father, Ranson Stephenson, brother J T Smith, niece Jenny Smith, and a nephew James Smith.

Miss. Smith is survived by a sister-in-law Virginia Smith of Sanford and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Pastor David Summerlin presiding.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10AM to the funeral hour.  Burial will follow at the cemetery of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1241 Old Fairground Rd, Willow Springs, NC  27592.
