William Henry “Buddy” “Willie Buck” Parrish, age 81, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, May 26, 2017.

He was born in Lee County, NC on March 13, 1936 to late Preston Thomas Parrish and Mollie Enoma Parrish of Sanford.  Buddy was preceded in death by his daughter Carrie Jeanette Parrish; a sister Mildred Parrish and a brother Preston Parrish, Jr.  Mr. Parrish retired from Cherokee-Sanford Brick Company where he worked for 45 years.

Surviving relatives include his sons, William Thomas Parrish and Robbie of Sanford and Donnie Ray Parrish & Kim of Richmond, VA; daughters, Renee Parrish Stone and George of Sanford and Donna Parrish Bray & Joe of Sanford; three sisters, Eleanor Parrish Yarborough and Austin of Wilmington, Linda Parrish Cox and Ronnie of Sanford and Brenda Parrish Maddox and Guy of Sanford; six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 29, 2017, 6 to 8PM, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Tuesday, May 30th, 2PM at the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
