William Wicker Obituary

William Curtis Wicker, age 82, of Carthage, NC, formerly of Sanford, NC, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

He was born in Lee County, NC on March 27, 1936 to the late Curtis Wicker and May Poole Wicker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Edna Parks and Jessie Poole Beal. William worked doing lawn maintenance. He is survived by two sisters, Flossie Beal of Sanford, Letha Garner of Georgetown, South Carolina and by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating, 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 29, 2018. There will be no formal visitation.
