William Carlton Buie

William Carlton Buie, age 71, of Lakeview, NC, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Lee County, NC on October 15, 1946 to the late Murphy Buie and Georgia Mashburn Buie.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Ashley Buie.  Mr. Buie loved to farm and hunt and was retired from Piedmont Wood Yard.

He is survived by sons Dean Buie of Hoffman, Terry Buie of Lakeview; step-daughter Pam Wicker Vadnais and husband Ron of Sanford; brothers Stanley Buie and wife Kathy of Vass, Jerry Buie of Siler City; and granddaughters Haydyn Blue, Keri Buie, Emily Buie and Nova Buie.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM and Johnson Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service around the tent.
