Vera "Versie" Brady Obituary

Vera “Versie” Sowder Brady, age 80, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, October 21, 2019 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Lee County, NC on June 10, 1939 to the late Doyle Sowder and Alice Burnette Sowder. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William T. Brady and brothers Ernest Sowder and Jimmy Sowder. Versie worked for Moen and was a member of The Sanford Church of God.

She is survived by her sons J.R. Brady and wife Dean of Sanford, Mark Brady of Florida and Sanford; numerous brother and sisters. She was one of thirteen children. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
