2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is the " God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials". God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day.
