Tommy Roy Garner, Sr., age 59, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Duke University Hospital.

He was born in Randolph County, on March 7, 1958, to Roy Wilson Garner and the late Shirley Daniels Garner.  Mr. Garner was the co-owner operator of Garner Concrete Company.

Surviving relatives include his wife Carol Beal Garner of the home; his father, Roy Wilson Garner and wife Lisa of Broadway; a son Tommy Garner and wife Brandy of Sanford; two daughters, Amber Garner and Dewey Dickerson of Sanford and Ashlee Garner of the home; three brothers, James, Pete and Mickey Garner all of Sanford; sisters, Sandy Stone of Sanford and Mandy Buchanan and husband BJ of Sanford; six grandchildren, Austin Gillis, Angie Grant, Cameron Wilkes, Ryan Garner, Trenton Garner and Brookelyn Garner; and two great grandchildren, Braydon and Jaxon “Tootie”.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, 6PM at the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Rev. George Stallings presiding.  The family will receive friends following the service until 9PM.
