We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Isaiah 33:24; 1 Corinthians 15:26) jw.org

Some in our community may have been " a bit put off" by Ted Driggers accent, which was unfamiliar to most of us. But if this kept anyone from getting to know him better, it is unfortunate; a loss for them, in my opinion. I, perhaps, other than you, June, knew Ted better than others around here. I am deeply saddened by his passing, as others surly are. May you, family, feel some comfort in hearing from me, that I feel to be a better person for having known Ted Driggers. His honesty, integerty, and not lest of all, his love for God, has had a very positive effect on me. For the better! Ted liked talking with all he came into contact with, has been my experience. I never saw him act disrespectful toward anyone; he was a kind and gentle man. Yes, I've lost a fishing buddy. I've lost more than that, though. I, and we all, are now without the goodness that flowed from this man......

Dear family, losing a loved one to death is not easy, but the Scriptures help families to know that there is a loving God who cares and wants to help them to endure. May these promises give you solace. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 New World Translation. In the future, people all over the earth ( Matthew 5:5 ) will not suffer illness ever again. No resident will say: " I am sick." Isaiah 33:24; Psalms 37:11, 29 New World Translation. Peace be with you.
