Rev. Theodore “Ted” Eric Driggers, age 86, of Sanford, NC, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home.  He had been sick a short time.

He was the son of Mathilda Kampmerer Driggers and Milton Eugene Driggers.  He was a retired Baptist Preacher and really loved his Lord.  He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Magaline “Maggie” Jordan, his parents Mathilda and Milton Driggers; brother Franklin and sister Thelma Driggers Sinnhoff.

He is survived by his wife June Wilson Dickens Driggers; brothers Milton Driggers and wife Hilda, Rhett Driggers and wife Lucille, and sister Ida Mae Harbeson and husband George “Pete” all from Charleston, SC.  His children Pamela Thomas and husband Gary, Andrew Dickens and wife Sylvia, Joel Dickens and wife Katrina; son Luke Driggers and daughter Hope Maynerd; daughter-in-law Natalie Wilson and husband Mike of Walterboro, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Swann Station Baptist Church with a memorial service following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Russell Blackmon, Rev. Fallon Melvin and Rev. Dave Kinney officiating.
