Ruby Hamilton Druckemiller, age 93, of Sanford, NC departed for her heavenly home on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Southport, NC.

She was born in Harnett County, NC on January 23, 1924 to the late Cliff Hamilton and Della May Gregory Hamilton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Russell Druckemiller; an infant son; five brothers, Louis Hamilton, Hayward Hamilton, Durwood Hamilton, J.W. Hamilton, Glen Hamilton and three sisters, Ethel Ryals, Lonie Stephenson and Janice Johnson.  Ruby worked many years in Sanford, NC managing women’s apparel shops.  She also managed Rolan Outlet prior to her retirement.  She was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church.  She loved her Lord and Savior and gave witness of his love to all she met.

She is survived by her son, Odos Druckemiller and wife, Janet of Sanford, NC and daughter, Carroll Druckemiller Wolfe and her husband, Dallas of Southport, NC; her sister, Faye Hamilton Alford and husband, Danny of Angier, NC.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Darren Moore officiating.  Those attending the service are asked to meet at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 1:00 PM to proceed together to the cemetery.
