Roy (Snowball) Harrison Wicker

Roy Harrison Wicker (Snowball), age 80, of Sanford, NC, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

Roy was born in Moore County on January 7, 1938 to the late Chalie Lee Wicker and Norvia Baine Wicker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings, Lee Wicker, Russell Wicker, Jack Wicker, Rassie Wicker, Harold Wicker, Annie Belle Denny and Elizabeth Faherty.  Roy was retired from Coty.

Roy is survived by one sister, Grace Jones of Sanford; a brother-in-law, Jim Faherty of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his sister, Grace Jones.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.
