Robert Brian Leathers, age 44, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, September 18, 2017.

He was born in Durham, NC on December 20, 1972 to Robert L. Leathers and Harriet B. Leathers.  He was self-employed and worked in construction.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his son, Robert Stephen Leathers; two sisters, Jennifer L. Myers and husband, Charles of Charlotte and Robbi L. Muckenfuss and husband, J of Durham; two nieces, Katie and Anna Muckenfuss and one nephew, Alex Muckenfuss.

A graveside service will be held at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joel Murr and Rev. J. Muckenfuss officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
