Richard Rojas Obituary

Richard Ellis Rojas, age 71, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

He was born in Victoria County, Texas on April 15, 1947, to the late Quirinio Rojas and Margaret Uresti Rojas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three siblings. Mr. Rojas served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Frye Rojas; son, Richard Ellis Rojas II of Sanford; daughter, Christiana Marie Rojas and husband Tyler Hoyt of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Miles Felix Rojas Hoyt and Amara Marie Rojas Hoyt and seven siblings.

A private memorial service was held with military honors at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
