Rex Wyatt Knight

Mr. Rex Wyatt Knight, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at his home.  Mr. Knight was born in Lee County, N. C., to Junior “Simon” Knight, (deceased) and Mary Barbara Buchanan Knight.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Debra Thomas of Sanford, N.C., Donna Marie Knight of Sanford, N.C., Paula Sloan of Woodbridge, VA and Penny Sowards and husband, Rick of Suffolk, VA; one nephew, five nieces, seven great-nieces and four great-nephews and best friend, Randy Ziblay and wife, Lisa.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at The First Apostolic Church, 315 East Weatherspoon Street.  The funeral service will follow at the church at 3 PM with Rev. George L. Akers, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Countryside Presbyterian Cemetery, 127 Ponderosa Road, Cameron, N.C.
