Raymond McNeill Obituary

Raymond Francis McNeill, age 77, of Cameron, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Westfield Rehabilitation Center.

Raymond was born in Harnett County, on May 19, 1941, the son of the late Tommy McNeill and Gertrude McLeod McNeill. He worked for the Sanford Herald as a Circulation Manager. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sons, Thomas Anthony McNeill and Raymond Patrick McNeill; siblings, Jimmy McNeill and Helen Smith.

The graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, 11AM at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery with Pastor Alex Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Thomas McNeill of the home; a sister-in-law Judy McNeill of Sanford; sisters, Mary John Boyce of Cameron, Jean Whitley of CA, Doris McLean of Thomasville, Margaret Raby of Wilmington, and Delmar Bartlett of Reno Nevada.
