Phillip Cecil Wicker, age 54, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer.

He was born in Lee County, NC on February 16, 1964 to Cecil Kenneth “Kenny” Wicker and Betty Phillips Wicker. His father preceded him in death. Phillip worked many years along side his father and brother Jimmy at Wicker Logging. Phillip loved NASCAR and watching his son Anthony race Motor Cross.

He is survived by his mother Betty Phillips Wicker; son Anthony Sandroni and wife Bridget; brother Jimmy Wicker and wife Gloria all of Sanford; nephew Craig Wicker and wife Katie of Sanford; niece Lori Cameron and husband Dac of Cameron; great-nephew Elliott Cameron; and granddaughters Alexandra Lawrence, Amber Flowers and Jemma Sandroni.

Per Phillip’s request, there will be no services or visitation.
