Peggy Rebecca (Jordan) Hall

Peggy Rebecca Jordan Hall, age 85, of Sanford, NC, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her home

She was born in Forsyth County, NC on March 30, 1934 to the late Dennis Parker Jordan and Hattie Gregory Jordan.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Larry James Phillips; three brothers and one sister.  Peggy was a meat wrapper for A&P and Byrd’s Grocery Stores.  She was a great cook and enjoyed planting flowers in her yard.  She also was talented at crafts.

She is survived by her husband Johnny Ray Hall; son Robert Lewis Phillips of Sanford; daughter Debra Sue Miller and husband Mike of Sanford; step-sons Jeffrey Ray Hall of Virginia, Timothy John Hall of Asheboro; step-daughter Beverly Lynn Williams of Pine Bluff, NC; sisters Linda Hesselmeyer of Ramseur, Judy Carol Warren of Sanford; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at other times at the family home.  There will be no formal service, just reminiscing with family and friends.
