Peggy Bridges Cooper, age 70, of Cary, NC, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Lee County on September 1, 1946 to the late J.T. Bridges and Pauline Cooke Bridges.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Tommy Parker Cooper of the home; one son, Parker Cooper and wife Kali;  one daughter, Anna C. Thompson and husband Kevin; and three grandchildren Cooper, Cameron, and Claire.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Turners Chapel Church cemetery.
