Patsy (Cothran) Doby

Patsy Cothran Doby, age 69, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lee County on October 24, 1948 to the late Dewey Cothran and Gladys Jones Cothran.  Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Russell Doby; daughters, Pansy Pope and husband, Scott of Sanford, Tammie Doby of Sanford; sister, Gloria Fulcer of Sanford; three grandchildren, Jennifer Honeycutt, Dylan Pope, Jordan Pope and one great-grandchild, Paisley Pope.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Chapel Church.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joel Murr and Rev. Brad Marona officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
