Norbert Eugene Johnston

Norbert Eugene Johnston, age 73, of Sanford, NC, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Lee County, NC on March 21, 1946 to the late Charlie Paschal Johnston and Annie Elizabeth Gilmore Johnston.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Richard Wayne Johnston.  Norbert was a car salesman and served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Judy Wilson Johnston and brothers Larry Paschal Johnston and Thurman Johnston, all of Sanford.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 26th at 11:00 AM in the Casey Chapel of St. Luke United Methodist Church with Dr. Gene Cobb officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately preceding the service from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
